For your teens the ultimate adventure whitewater kayaking
on the Red River in Northern Wisconsin. The trip leaves from the Field House
at 6:00 am allowing plenty of time to arrive at the Red River. Instruction
and skill testing will begin at the put in we than will put our new found
skills to use, traveling down the river and learning to play in the rapids.
Evening will be spent relaxing around a campfire, and sleeping under the stars
in provided will again challenge the Red River learning more advanced kayaking
skills. All participants must know how to swim, as part of learning to kayak
you will be required to flip over and "wet exit" (get out of) a
capsized kayak a minimum of 2 times.

Begin your summer with a relaxing paddle down the Illinois & Michigan
canal. This historic route, completed in 1848, was the last waterway link
to connect the Gulf of Mexico to the East Coast. Kayak for two days and spend
a night just off the canal in Gebhard Woods State Park. While traveling through
history, observe the flora and fauna that includes a variety wildflower species,
water foul, songbirds and much more. Enjoy the beautiful scenery and warm
weather on this day trip.

Enter the kayaking world with this easy half-day trip down the DuPage River.
Learn the basic skills such as safety and paddle strokes on this introductory
level trip. Travel through Warrenville, Naperville, watch for wildlife while
floating downstream through Warrenville ending at McDowell Grove Forest Preserve.
